About us
Association of Iranian Physicians, Dentists and Pharmacists in France
(AMDPI)
The idea of this association was first formed in 1990 when some voluntary
physicians looked for ways to help the victims of an earthquake in North
of Iran. Then gradually, their simple meetings brought them up to create
this apolitical and un-religious association of Iranian health-providers
in France with the objective of providing medical aid and information
for our compatriots inside or outside our homeland.
We are currently about 200 members who meet up regularly every 2 months
having at least one scientific conference and one non-scientific (usually
Persian art and literature) lecture. This is in parallel to our main objectives,
making Iranian physicians known to each other as well as to those Iranians
looking for a physician in France; and getting more organised in providing
aid and information to our compatriots.
We are in close connection with "Iranian French-Speaking Physicians,
Dentists and Pharmacists" in Iran and with some other Iranian medical
associations around the world.
